Abortion LinksWhat is the answer? This murderous problem exists in epidemic portions today because Christians are failing in their job. We have won converts and forgotten to make disciples. We warm our pews and go through our lives forgetting that we are called for a purpose. This purpose is to extend the Kingdom of God in every country and in every area of life. Jesus Christ is Lord! From the 1st Century down until the present time many Christians have died [and are dying] for making that statement and refusing to back down from it. In many Christian circles today it is simply a catch-phrase which means nothing as we go on living our lives the way we want to. The bottom line answer is not found in politics or in protests, although they can be important. The bottom line is: Jesus. When the majority of people in Canada, the United States, or wherever are DISCIPLES of Jesus Christ then abortion and other social evils will no longer even be an issue. This begins with Christians repenting and realizing that Christianity is not a fire escape - that's a benefit not a purpose. Nobody is called to fight on all the fronts. Sit at the feet of the Master, develop your relationship with Him, discover where He wants you, put your whole heart into it, and support others on whatever front God has called them to. Judgment Day will reveal who was sleeping, who was pursing their own agenda, and who was a disciple. The links below show what some are doing to defend the defenseless.
